A mysterious being from another world—the "Marebito"—intrudes upon a collective ritual, unsettling the group and provoking turmoil. What transformation will it undergo, and where will it lead? Exploring the themes of the individual and the collective, the afterlife and real life, this performance explores the presence of the  "Marebito" as a ritual of the outsider. Created as the company’s first outdoor production, this acclaimed work draws inspiration from the Japanese folkloric concept of  "Marebito" and marks Noism’s debut in Slovenia.

Noism is Japan’s first dance company to hold permanent residence in a theatre, based at RYUTOPIA. Since its foundation in 2004, the company has created original works performed worldwide. Under the direction of Jo Kanamori, Noism integrates elements of Eastern and Western dance traditions, forging a distinctive choreographic language of its own.
