If you could give a piece of advice to yourself as a child, what would it be?
Try harder, it's never enough and don't waste time. Time is all we have.

If you had the power to change the world you live in, what would you start with?
It’s a very difficult question! I don’t think I can answer.

How did you first come across dance?
By chance, when at the age of 18 I discovered breakdancing from skateboarding... and so began my whole journey of discovery.

What was the spark that originated the idea for your performance?
Poetically or practically?
Poetically, I was fascinated by the particular state of mind we have in the moment of 'waiting', of ‘expectation’.
On the practical side, however, a new commission had arrived!

You will see young dancers, full of enthusiasm and energy, open up to the audience by showing their dance. Nothing predetermined, nothing imposed, everything improvised and free, to the melodies created by the live music.
